The following criteria will be considered where relevant to the award category nominated for.

• Price competitiveness
• Ability to stay within budget
• Compliance to regulations
• Timeliness of delivery
• Track record of meeting contractual obligations
• Quality of customer service
• Terms of delivery
• Commitment to good business ethics
• International presence and delivery capacity
• Commitment to promotion/publicity of activities, products and services
• Quality and effort of product/service marketing
• Good corporate reputation
• Commitment to good corporate social responsibility
• Professional recognitions
• Innovations in processes and design
• Environmental friendliness
• Contributions to advocacy regarding issues pivotal to the industry.


A quantitative scoring model will be applied for each nomination with a maximum possible score assigned to each criterion. Only criteria that relate to the category being contended for will be considered in each category. To ensure a level playing field, the same criteria and quantitative scoring model will be applied to all nominees in each delineated category.



AWARDS SELECTION PROCESS


1) Nominations are invited from the general public and aspiring contenders for awards;
2) Nominations are examined by the research consultants to ascertain they meet the eligibility requirements;
3) Nominations are assessed by the research consultants to ascertain whether they meet the basic selection criteria;
4) Nominations ascertained to meet the eligibility requirements and the basic selection criteria are then forwarded as a nomination short list to the Awards Selection Jury;
5) The Jury then meets to consider each nomination for the various categories. Each juror would score each nominee using the quantitative assessment model described above;
6) The scores of each juror for each nominee are then aggregated to determine each nominee’s overall score:
7) The computations used to determine each overall score are validated by the audit firm contracted specifically for this purpose and the validated results are forwarded to the organizers;
8) The organizers then determine the winners in each categories. based on the validated scores and confirm acceptance by the winners in the form of their agreement to comply with the sole term/condition.
