Executive Summary

The Pan African Real Estate Conference and Awards (PAREDCA) have been conceptualized to identify and publicly recognize outstanding performance and conduct in the real estate development industry across the continent. The awards ultimately aim to encourage investment, good ethical conduct and professional expertise in the industry, both within sovereign jurisdictions and on a pan African basis. This will be achieved by enabling the recognition and acclaim given awardees to be leveraged to attract public goodwill, and the patronage of supply/value chain operators, business support service providers and end use customers.

Private enterprises, public institutions and other pertinent organizations directly – and in some cases indirectly – involved in the design , construction, delivery and financing of real estate, in Africa, or elsewhere in the world but available to Africans, are eligible as well as industry chieftains in their personal capacities. For the purposes of these awards only residential and the residential components of mixed developments will be considered.

THE AWARDS CONFERMENT EVENT Awards will be conferred on the winners at a five star, gala banquet-style event to be held on 6th March 2024 at Crowne Plaza Hotel, Dubai. This is billed to be the biggest gathering of extraordinarily capable and accomplished Africa domiciled real estate operators ever convened.

  • ABOUT THE CONFERENCE

    The awards scheme will be accompanied by a full day pan African conference on the real estate industry which will take place immediately preceding the awards conferment event which will take place in the evening of the same day. The ultimate aim of the conference is to provide a foundation for the evolution of a pan African real estate industry and market in line with the ongoing socio-economic integration of the continent.

  • PARTICIPATION

    Participation at the conference will comprise award winners who automatically qualify; and selected stakeholders in the industry as identified and invited by the organizers.

  • THE THEME FOR THE PAN AFRICAN CONFERENCE

    The theme, which applies to both the conference and the awards scheme is: :”Facilitating quality and affordable housing for a social-economic integrated Africa”

  • THE FORMAT

    The conference is designed as an interactive event . Four expert presentations will be delivered, each of which will be followed by a question and answer session and group discussions. Award winners are required to attend the conference in person to facilitate the networking requisite for establishing a pan African real estate industry and market which it can serve. However other invited stakeholders will have the (preferable and more beneficial) option of participating in person or virtually by Zoom. In the latter circumstances the organizers would provide the requisite link.
